Stream/Download the Japanese Cuts of the SHOWA GODZILLA Films in HD


Here's my Christmas gift to you all, the original Japanese versions of the original Showa era Godzilla films in glorious high-definition, in Japanese with English subtitles FOR FREE! I ripped these from the Toho Blu-rays, sans Godzilla '54 (ripped from the Criterion BD), Godzilla vs. Megalon (ripped from the Tokyo Shock BD), The Return of Godzilla (ripped from the Kraken BD), and Godzilla vs. Biollante (ripped from the Echo Bridge BD).

You'll notice I added The Return of Godzilla. While the film is the start of the Heisei series, it was still produced during the Showa period in Japan. So it's technically a Showa era film. Have a Showa Godzilla marathon before the release of Legendary's GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS (2019) and GODZILLA VS. KONG (2020).

STAR RANGERS (1975) Rare Filipino English Dub HD Reconstruction


Greetings fellow Super Sentai/Power Rangers fans. Yes, you've read the header correctly. I have found the absolutely rare, once lost Filipino English dub of the original Sentai show HIMITSU SENTAI GORANGER, released in the Philippines as STAR RANGERS.

Not only that, but I also took the liberty of doing an HD reconstruction of the English episodes! I acquired the English version from a collector who was kind enough to burn the VHS onto a DVD+R and mail it to me. It was pretty evident that the original VHS was very, VERY OLD as some episodes were nearly unwatchable due to the terrible, aged quality of the VHS. Fortunately, the audio was spared, for the most part.

But now all can enjoy the English dub in glorious HD! It wasn't much of a hassle since only 10 episodes survived. Naturally, I used the Japanese Blu-ray as a source.

WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS (1966) Export English Dub in HD


Here's an HD version of Toho's international English dub of WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS. This is not the same dub as the American English dub produced by Glen Glenn Sound featured on the Classic Media DVD and Paramount VHS release.

This is the former rare dub produced by Frontier Enterprises that had Russ Tamblyn's English dialogue dubbed over by another actor (the same voice actor who provided the voice for Gengo in the export English dub of Godzilla vs. Gigan)

FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE WORLD - Titra English Dub HD Reconstruction


Here's my personal HD reconstruction of the Titra English dub of FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE WORLD (aka FRANKENSTEIN VS. BARAGON). I ripped the 5.1 surround audio version of the English dub from the Tokyo Shock DVD & synced the audio with the Toho Blu-ray version. I had to personally reproduce some of the English captions through Photoshop. Enjoy!

Script for Steve Miner's Unproduced Godzilla: King of the Monsters in 3D

Here's the screenplay (download link below) for the unproduced Godzilla: King of the Monsters in 3D. This was a project developed by Steve Miner in 1983. Miner was also attached to direct the film, unfortunately, the film was unable to secure committed producers and funding.

The project died and the Godzilla license reverted back to Toho. All that's left are storyboards by William Stout (image above), a few stop-motion prototypes, and the script written by Fred Dekker. The script itself is a revised first draft and is presented in PDF format. Had fate been kind to this project, this would have been the first American Godzilla film completely produced by a Hollywood studio.

GODZILLA VS. THE SEA MONSTER - Titra English Dub HD Reconstruction



Hey all. As the title says, I've managed to produce an HD reconstruction of the 1968
Titra English dub of Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster (aka Ebirah, Horror of the Deep) on Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015. I used the Toho Blu-ray as a source rather than the Kraken Blu-ray.

While I do admit the Kraken BD looks great on its own, the Toho BD was a legit HD remaster of the film. I suspect the Kraken BD was a high quality upscaled version of the Sony DVD. Anyways...
